Access MySQL

If you have a dynamic website that needs access to a MySQL database, configure it using the settings below. Note that databases must be created by jlauser.net staff.

The hostname used should always be localhost. The username is the same as your main username, but you will have a different password.

Additionally, you can log into the database using the mysql command in the console or via phpMyAdmin, located at https://secure.jlauser.net/phpmyadmin/. Note that when using phpMyAdmin, you will be prompted to log in twice. The first login (typically a prompt by your web browser) uses your regular password and the second (the phpMyAdmin login screen) uses your database password.
