Changing your password can be done by visiting http://secure.jlauser.net/cgi-bin/passwd.cgi.

The following tasks cannot be done by users. If you need any of the following, please ask jlauser.net staff.

  • Setting up a new domain
  • Setting up a sub-domain
  • Creating or destroying hosted mail accounts
  • Creating or destroying databases
  • Accessing log files
  • Accessing backups (see below)
  • Enabling spam filtering
  • Setting up mailing lists

Note about backups:

All data in client directories is backed up nightly, in addition to all mail directories and databases. These backups are kept for one month. The backups are NOT client-accessible. If a file is lost, damaged, or needs to be reverted to a backup for any other reason, ask jlauser.net staff. The full path the file and the date from which it should be restored is required. Note that backups may take a day or longer to upload back onto the primary server. Repeated requests for data out of backups may not be honored, as clients are required to make backups of their own data by the Terms of Service.
