For users of hosted mail, I've made a change to how the mail server stores messages locally. I've migrated from the old mbox file format to the new Maildir format.

This upgrade should be transparent for all users, as it occurs automatically the first time you log in. For many users this has already occurred. If your account has not yet been upgraded, you may notice a delay while the upgrade occurs, especially if you have a large number of messages on the server. This delay will only happen one time.

Once the upgrade is complete, you should notice improved performance when manipulating messages (moving, deleting, etc), as well as significantly improved performance when using webmail. Other than that, your mail will act exactly as it did. No client-side changes are required.
